Meet the Doctor

Dr. Chris Powell

Dr. Christopher Powell was born in Omega, Georgia where he graduated with honors from Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia. He went on to attend Valdosta State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is a 2009 Cum Laude Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Powell holds a post graduate certification in Electrodiagnostic testing through the International Board of Electrodiagnostics, and is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, as well as the Georgia Chiropractic Association.  Dr. Powell is proficient in multiple chiropractic techniques and is certified in the use of physical therapy. He is married to the former Jackie Wenslow, also of Tifton. Dr. Powell is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending his free time either golfing, fishing or playing with his two Labrador Retrievers.

Dr. James Donohue

Dr. James K. Donohue graduated with a B.A from S.U.N.Y at Stonybrook, N.Y. He served 8 years in the U.S. Navy, resigning as a naval officer. After teaching high school for a short period, Dr. Donohue entered Life University for a doctorate degree in chiropractic and graduated with honors. He holds proficiencies in multiple chiropractic techniques and is certified in the use of physical therapies.

Throughout his life Dr. Donohue has felt compelled to "lead by example". His knowledge of health, fitness and nutrition is extensive. As a runner he competes in local races from 5K distance to marathon. As a triathlete he has completed Ironman Florida. As a tennis player he competes at an A level in ALTA and USTA. As a multisport athlete of many years, he is a testament to the perfect marriage between sports and chiropractic.
